Indianapolis Eye Doctor
Dr. Donald Hulsey graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1988 with a B.S in Biology. He completed his degree in optometry at the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1992. After graduation from optometry school, Dr. Hulsey served for three years in the United States Army with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, New York. While on active duty, he was deployed to both Somalia and Haiti, providing eye care for the U.S. and NATO forces. Dr. Hulsey worked for two years in a private optometric practice in Ohio before joining Lanter EyeCare in 1997.
Dr. Hulsey has participated in three medical mission trips to Quito, Ecuador, where he provided eye care to those in need. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association.
Dr. Hulsey sees patients of all ages for eye examinations. He enjoys examining patients who wear difficult to fit contact lenses, and also treats patients for many eye diseases and ocular injuries.
Dr. Hulsey is married with two daughters who attend school in the Center Grove School district. He enjoys volunteering with the Center Grove Marching Trojans.
